Dorothea Marie (Cruse) Hunt, was born August 7, 1946 in Akron, Ohio. She was an only child to her mother the late Dorothy Cruse.

Dorothea lived and resided in Akron majority of her life. She attended Grace Elementary school, West Jr. High school and Central Howard High school.

Dorothea attend the Jesus Christ Church of Latter-Day Saints under the leadership of Bishop Jon Lee.

She was preceded in death by her mother the late Dorothy Cruse, grandmother, Beatrice Cruse, Aunt Shavaughnd (Cruse) Williams, daughter Doriethea Cruse, son Ameer Hunt, closet and dearest life long friend Zepherline Tucker and very close and dear cousin Veronica Shippe.

Dorothea leaves behind to cherish her memories, her children; sons John William Cruse, Ka'Atem Heru ( Dwan Cruse and wife Carla) Special son Jerry Tucker, Daughter Ayesha Saleem (Hunt) Vaughn. 9 grandchildren, Steven, Tionne, Destiney, Bryana, Kamira, Ameer, Dwan Michael Zhaqua, Karmen, and special granddaughter Paris Caldwell and special loving Aunts and Uncle Renny and Orethea Colvin, Ophelia Averiette; dearest best friend for over forty years and we're as close as sisters is Janet Shufford; dearest and close sister-n-law for over 50 years is Laverne Harris and Brother -n-law Ronnie Hunt and a host of many cousins that were like brothers and sisters to her, a host of nieces and nephews and friends who loved and cherished her so much.

Dorothea's children would like to say a special thank you to her church family for loving her and supporting her as a member and sister in Christ.

Now Dorothea is reunited with her mother Dorothy Cruse who she missed and loved Deeply!

Mommy May your soul rest easy and peacefully now that you're reunited with Grandma Dorothy and the rest of your loved ones you lost along the way. Dwan and I will truly miss you mommy until we meet again mommy you will always be in our hearts!!!
