Doris Jackson gained her Heavenly wings on September 15, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rebecca Robinson and Joe Garrett; her sisters, Hattie McCurty and Carrie Lee; brothers, Leandus Garrett, Herman Garrett, Johnny Garrett, and Robert Robinson.

Doris leaves to cherish her precious  memory her children, Willie (Shirley) Grimes, Kenneth Grimes, and Sylvia (Todd) Miller; grandchildren, JaQuana Wooley, Tiffany Grimes, Indigo Carter, Dayonte' (Katie) Grimes, Nataya Grimes, Kenneth Mctyeire, Tyra Mctyeire, Cachae Smith, Kyeriq Grimes, Shannon Davis, Zion Gervins, Kenneth Grimes Jr., Kerris Grimes, Keryzma Grimes,; sisters, Lula (Stan) Green, Emma Feagan; brother, Ronald Garrett and Earl Garrett, as well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
