Donna Lee Lewis, 61, of Akron, OH, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 after a two-month long illness.  She was the eldest child of James J. and Carol M. (Campbell) Shook, born on April 26, 1960, and spent most of her life in the Akron area. Donna was proud to be the first college graduate in her family when she earned her Associate of Science degree in 1984 from Southern Ohio College.  On April 5, 1986, she married her long-time love Dick L. Lewis, Jr.  Among her professional life, she was a back-office Assistant for First Merit / Huntington Bank for numerous years and through the last year and a half, she loved being a Flagger for Wright of Ohio. She also loved her family, country music, reading, and animals. Donna was predeceased by her parents, her first born child, Mark L. Shook, Sr., and her beloved blue macaw, Luther. She is missed by her surviving family which includes her husband, daughters Geraldine M. Lewis, Terry L. Lewis, and Felicia L. (Stan Helvert) Lewis, siblings Patricia A. (Bill) Boggs of Akron, OH, and Raymond G. (Marlene) Shook of Vandalia, OH.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews. grandchildren, great-granchildren, as well as her beloved canine Boots. Donna's loved ones will gather at her Celebration of Life on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 6 - 7 p.m. at Rhoden Memorial Home, 1101 Palmetto Ave. Akron, OH,  44306.  Her inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.
