Dinah "Boop" Shipman went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 23, 2020, following a brief illness.  She was born on May 3, 1964 to the late Ms. Eva D. (Shipman) Edwards and Roderick Washington.  Dinah was in the class of 1982 at Alliance High School.

She was formerly employed at Liberty Health Share.  Dinah enjoyed reading, playing cards, word search books and spending time with family and friends.  She loved shopping and taking care of everybody.  Her greatest pleasure in life was watching her grandchildren grow.  She LOVED chicken wings and pizza.  Her favorite song was "Motivation" by Kelly Rowland and Lil Wayne.  Dinah also loved Betty Boop.

In addition to her parents Dinah was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents and special friend, Melvin (Kutye) Hardy.

Dinah leave to cherish her memory her daughters, Che'La , Che'Lita "Deda"; son, Julius "Che'Mar"; brothers, Dana Shipman, Cedric "Scooter" Edwards; sisters, Takeitha Edwards, Shanna (Carl) Lawwson, Tori Washington, Freedom Washington, and Naja Washington; grandchildren, Sa'Niah, Aubrey, Neijah, Chaise, Julius, Julian, Jordan, My'Yana, Lil Rico; special friends,  Stephenie (Louis) Prather, Melodie (Andrews) Hancox and Diane Jones, as well as  a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
