On Wednesday, January 19, 2022 after a brief illness, our beloved Diane Washington went to be with the Lord.  She was born on June 2, 1953 to the late Louis and Emma Washington in Canton, Ohio.

Diane attended Timken Vocational High School, graduating in Cosmetology and became one of Canton's best beauticians.  Diane was baptized at a young age at Mount Olive Baptist Church.  She attended Sunday School, Bible Study, and sang in the Junior Choir and later in the Mass Choir.

Diane's favorite praise– Hallelujah, Thank You Jesus, she loved reading, especially the Bible, cooking, family gatherings, selling Mary Kay, selling insurance, and most of all doing hair. She loved talking with people and never met a stranger.

In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Martina Lynn Washington; brother, Carnell Hightower; partner, Alfred Hill; son, Alfred Jr. "Trae".

She leaves to cherish her memories her siblings, Louise Mayronne of Fort Pierce, Florida, Wuyanbu Zutai of Akron, Ohio, Sheila (Michael) Heard of Canton, Ohio, Shirley (David) Upper of Marlboro, Maryland, Geraldine Washington of Canton, Ohio, Steve Washington of Garden Grove, California; stepson, Doug Hill of Canton, Ohio; special aunt, Hattie M. Meade;                 sisters-in-law, Karen Zutai, Lolia Washington, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
