On February 13, 1958, Derrick Felton, affectionately called "Butch" entered this world to proud parents Thomas and Sandra Felton. 

Derrick served in the National Guard after graduating from Central Howard High School. He worked at Russell Products for five years. He retired from JoAnn Fabrics after 25 years of faithful service in 2021. 

He was a dedicated fan of the Cleveland Browns and Cavaliers. He was a man who loved his family, cooking on the grill for get togethers at his house. He and special friends Eugene, Steve, Robin, Vernon, and Curtis enjoyed fellowship and food watching The Browns. 

Derrick was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Felton and Sandra Johnson; sisters, Kimberly Felton and Jackie Dickerson; granddaughter, Aleena Felton; stepfather, Clarence Johnson.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories to his loving wife of 50 years, Linda Felton; sons, Marlon (Dottie) Felton and Jermaine Felton; brothers, Dino and Cynthia, Eugene Dickerson; sisters, Lorraine Dickerson and Gail Felton; aunt, Jill Clark, and special friend, LaWonda Chisolm as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
