Denise L. Myricks, age 61, transitioned from her earthly home October 24, 2017. She was born in Canton, February  6, 1956, to the late James C. and Sylvia (Lee) Myricks. She was a graduate of the Ohio School for the Deaf in Columbus, Ohio. Denise worked in the Stark County Workshops where she was active in a variety of roles. She was a devoted member of the Union Baptist Church and a lifelong avid fan of the McKinley Bulldogs. Denise is survived by her brother, Dalon K. (Malleri); nephew Joshua (Adrienne) Johnson; a great-niece, Naomi Johnson; as well as a host of relatives and friends. Donations in Denise's memory can be made to Union Baptist Church and Beyond Our Boundaries.
