Demetrius "Metchie" S. Harper, 34, went home to be with the Lord Friday, October 4, 2013.  Born in Akron, OH June 1, 1979, he was the son of LaVeania Harper and Charles Logan.  He had been employed at Goodwill until March 2013. Metchie was preceded in death by his grandfather Sheldon Dampier.  He leaves to cherish his memory, mother, LaVeania Harper; father Charles Logan; grandmother Hattie B. Dampier; godmother Turleen Dent; special aunt Linda Trammel; and a host of family and friends.
