Debra Vonalie Davenport, born on September 24, 1953 to the late Nannie Mae and George Davenport, transitioned on May 28, 2024 at the age of 70.

Debra graduated from McKinley High School where she decided to further her education in business management at Mansfield Business College.

Debra had a passion for cooking as well as taking care of others in her spare time.  She volunteered with the food drive at the Light in Christ Church/Community Drop In Center, where she was also a member.

In addition to her parents, Debra was preceded in death by her (2) sisters, Connie Davenport and Virginia Louise Brown; (5) brothers, Fransis Davenport, George Davenport, Steven Davenport, James Davenport and Jesse Davenport; (2) nephews, Carlos Steele and   Perez Davenport; and (1) great grandson, Eric Artis.

Debra leaves to cherish her memory, her (3) children, Daryl (Dezirae) Davenport, Myra Davenport and Saleena (Iris) Sampson; (1) brother, David (Phyllis Jean) Davenport; (8) grandchildren, (5) great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly; special friends, Marilyn Jackson, Phyllis Jones and Maryann French; as well as a host of other friends.

Debra will truly be missed by everyone!
