Deborah (DJ) Carlton, 56, went home to be with the Lord on September 2, 2017. She was born on January 21, 1961 to John and Rotelia Carlton in Akron, Ohio. As a life long resident of Akron she graduated from Buchtel High School and raised two children. Deborah enjoyed listening to music, spending time with her family and friends, and playing Yahtzee. She was a kind and gentle soul who was always willing to help anyone in need and will truly be misses. Deborah is preceded in death by her father and mother, John and Rotelia Carlton; sister, Janie Walker and brother, John Carlton. Deborah leaves to cherish her loving memory children, Stephanie and Rodney; sisters, Lucille (Tommy) McDaniel and Karen Carlton-Bishop; brother, Michael Carlton; grandchildren, Xavier, Airq, Amina, Sabrina, Yasmine, Olivia, Carter, and Hayden; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
