Owen Hatchett age 88, took his heavenly flight on Tuesday, April 7,2015. Born in Montgomery,Ala., on May 29, 1926 to Willie and Eola (Fenderson) Hatchett.He was employed at the Timken Company for 34 years, where he retired from in 1982. He also served in the U.S. Army World War II Veteran. He was baptized in Jesus Name and filled with the Holy Ghost at Greater Bethel Apostolic Church. He became a Deacon Emeritus at Greater Bethel Apostolic Church where he faithfully served for 40 years, until his health no longer allowed him to. Deacon Emeritus OwenHatchett is survived by his faithful and devoted wife, Angeline Hatchett of 40 years. Also surviving to cherish his memory are two daughters,
Harriet Spaulding (Willie Suggs) and Allita Britton; four sons, Owen Hatchett Jr. (Ming Ji), Vince atchett (Toni), Chris Hatchett (Xavier), and Andre Hughes (Lela); grandchildren, Janel Lytle (Lennie),
Anish Grimes (Tony), Brian Hughes, Cedric Hughes, Kim Covington, Jason Covington, Deloris Glover, Norma Hunter, Anasa Spaulding, Janette Spaulding, Ray Spaulding, Monika Higgins, Ashley, Vince
Jr., Natalyah, Jordan, and Tia; great-grandchildren, Bre'Auna and Brian Gray, Aaron, Shalina Thomas and Jermaine Covington, and amongst his great great- grandchildren, Zaria andZavier Parker, Ashira and Aria Fowler, Colita Hughes, Robert, Samuel and Angel Thompson and Emory Grimes; God daughters, Brittany and Carla Lemon; special cousins, Jerome (Maxine) McCloud, Juan (Amy) McCloud and their families.
