Deacon Norman Allan Carswell, 65, went home to be with the Lord on June 24, 2015. He was born on October 19, 1949 in Akron, Ohio to his parents Norman and Ruth Carswell. He was a member of Higher Ground Worship Center where he served as a faithful Deacon.
He is preceded in death by his father, Norman Carswell and his grandmother, Sweetie Mae Bridges.
He leaves to forever cherish his loving memory wife, Paulette Carswell; sons, Marcus (Libby) Carswell and Corey (Talaya) Carswell; mother, Ruth Carswell; brothers, William (Karen) Franklin and Marlon Boyick; sisters, Cathryn Johnson, Andrea (James) Wilkinson and Ruth (Laiston) Jerels; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Homegoing Celebration will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 12 noon at Higher Ground Worship Center 380 Wooster Road N Barberton, Ohio 44203. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of service. Pastor Dr. William N. Bridges III, Eulogizing and Bishop Stanley B. Robinson, Officiating.
