Daylen (Day-Day) Dashawn Pickett, age 22 of Akron, Ohio passed away October 10, 2023 in Akron Ohio. Born and raised in Akron, OH he graduated from North High School and went on to obtain a welding certificate from Forest College.

He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson and friend. Day-Day was a beautiful soul and will be so deeply missed by all who knew him.

Preceded in death by grandmother Patricia Wheeler, Auntie Jennifer Pickett and Cousin Anthony Pickett Jr.

He is survived by his father Timothy Pickett, Mother Monique Barkley, Sisters Cashae Vinson and Jamesha Williams and niece and nephews Jaia Perry, Zion Vinson-Dykes, and Jai'ceyon Perry. Great grandmother Shirley Barkley. Grandparents Diana (Marlon) Melton. Aunts Takisha Darden, Annie Green and Shirley Williams. Uncles Anthony Pickett, Cedric Pickett and Darrel Pickett. Special Cousin Jessica Jones.
