Dawn Renee Carr (Bentley), age 52, peacefully went home to be with the lord on Monday, March 29, 2021 following a unyielding and triumphant battle with illness.

She was a life-long resident of Canton, OH. She was born to parents William Dodd and Lucille (Anthony) Bentley on January 6, 1969. She attended and graduated from McKinley Senior High School. Later, she attended college at Stark State College where she received her CDA certification. She met and married her heart school sweetheart, Timothy Carr at a young age and they later divorced. Throughout her life, she worked as an infant childcare educator until she retired.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, 5 brothers, Dale, William Dodd Jr. Richard, Anthony, and Micheal Bentley and sister, Irene Bentley and aunt, Bethany Ann Low and special friend Charleston Eutsey.

She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory: her 3 loving and faithful children: Davonna, her daughter and Timothy (Janae) and Bryce, her sons, all of Canton, OH; 2 sisters, Rhea and LaDetta, both of Canton, OH; brother, Mark of Canton, OH; 3 grandsons Jahveze, Jahvere and Eason, all of Canton, OH; 4 special nieces Chanetta, Brittany, Renita, and Precious, all of Canton, OH and many more beloved nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
