David was born in Chicago, IL on May 24, 1990.  He moved to Massillon, OH at the age of 4.  He attended Franklin Elementary, Longfellow Middle and Washington High Schools.  He was embraced by and grew up with Kenny Stroud, Jr. and Kevin Massey which he esteemed as brothers.  Since then many more have entered the fold.  David never met a stranger that   didn't eventually become a friend.  He enjoyed playing football and basketball.  He loved his family and friends and simply adored his two daughters Leah and Amira. David gave his life to Christ at an early age and rededicated his life on July 23, 2017.  He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Emma Jean (Theodis) Kelly and Milton Allen, and his  paternal grandmother Donna Talley. He leaves to mourn his father, David Raymond Talley, Sr.; his mother Clara Mae Island and step-father Cantrell Island; his daughters, Leah Emma-Rae Talley & Amira Diamond Talley; grandfather, James Steven Talley; grandmother, Bernice Allen; brother, Eric JaJuan Ray (Christina); sisters, Nicole Antoinette Scates-Mackey (Charles) and Krystal Araujo (Oscar): his Island siblings Jolanda, Africa, Cantrell, Travis, Candice, Antoine, J.D., Mayim, and Mariah, and a host of nieces & nephew, aunts, uncles, and friends.
