David Mitchell Nicholson passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 2, 2021.  Mitch retired from Timken Steel in 2018 after many years of service.  Mitch was formerly active in midget football league as an assistant coach for the Bears.  He was formerly an active member of Greater Bethel Apostolic Church having served as a church usher, Sunday school teacher and in the Brotherhood.

Preceded in death by his father Clayton Nicholson Jr.; his mother, Roszell Nicholson; and stepmother, Beverly Joyce Nicholson.

David is survived by his children, Daphne "DeeDee" Nicholson and Matthew "Matt" Nicholson; siblings, Jill Clayton III (Marcia)  Nicholson, Carolyn (Eric) Blackshear, Patty, Tracy, Pamela, and Sherri Melissa Nicholson; his uncle who was like another brother, Willie (Debra) Berry; (2) stepsisters, (1) stepbrother and his ex-wife and good friend, Beverly.  Mitch kept in contact with his childhood friends and was a friend and helped many others he met.  Mitch will be dearly missed by us all.
