David Cooks  age 50 was called home to be with the Lord July 9, 2015. David was born to Solomon J.L. Cooks Sr. and  to the late Ethel R.B. Cooks on March 12, 1965. He graduated from Timken High School. He worked a variety of jobs. He was preceded  in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts and uncles, sister Debbie Lynn Cooks, brother-in-law, and beloved grandson Da'Vier Cooks. He leaves to cherish his memory, his girlfriend Kishia Rhymes;  his daughter Davian T.L. Cooks, his sons David L. Cooks, Da Juane M. Cooks, and Dennzell Cooks all of Canton, Ohio;  brothers Algie Cook Sr., Mary Bentley of Charlotte, NC, Diane (Ralph) DeGraffenreid, Jesse (Malita) Cooks Jr., Gloria Roane, Jonathan (Andrea) Cooks Sr., and Nathaniel Cooks  all of Canton, Ohio; grandchildren Da'Jon Penn, Da'Janae Jones, Da'Vaun Wilson, Daleja Cooks, Dah'Veair Cooks all of Canton, Ohio and host of other  relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Saturday July 18, 2015 at 11 a.m. at The Southeast Church of Christ, 1424 Allen Ave. NE, Canton, Ohio. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m.
