Our beloved father David S. Allen 82, Canton, Ohio, July 11, 2015 went home to be with the Lord. David was born January 7, 1933 in Waynesburg, Oh.   He served in the United States Air Force/Korean War and retired from St. Regis/Georgia Pacific. Our father was a hard, working man, he loved to laugh and make you laugh.  He loved family time and he could host a good cookout or Sunday dinner.  He loved to cook and take road trips. He adored his children and grandchildren, he never missed a beat, checking up at their school or sporting events.  You could find dad in his recliner watching sports and that's just how he liked it. He was preceded in death by his Father Curtis Allen Sr, and mother Mary Allen; 3 brothers, Lamar Allen, William Allen, Roy Allen; 2 sisters, Julie Bailey, Monica Haynes. He is survived by; sisters, Marilyn Anthony , Joanne Brunner, Hassie (Darlin) and Timothy Pryor, Bonnie (Fish) Allen; brothers, Johnnie Allen, Curtis (June) Allen Jr; son Anthony D. Allen; daughters, Jacqueline (Edward) Oneal, Davian Torrence; grandchildren, Antonia Allen, Anthony Allen Jr, Thomas Banks, Shadow Ford, Cortez Johns, Moses Oneal and Savian Torrence; very special friend, Peggy Wells as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
