Darnell E. McGrady Sr. departed suddenly on November 21, 2024, at the age of 32. He was born April 18th 1992, to Chaunie and Darryl McGrady in Akron, Ohio. He attended Akron Public Schools graduated from John R. Buchtel in 2011.

Throughout his life Darnell was very talented and a hardworking man. He drove trucks all over the United States as a delivery driver. Darnell loved working on many different things as well fixing things from his childhood all the way to adulthood. Most of all Darnell loved working on his cars and many others. He also loved traveling and spending countless amount of time with his kids when he wasn't working.

Darnell was preceded in death by his father Darryl R. McGrady and brother Darren McGrady. As well as Grandparents Federia Harris, Peter Crews, Shirley and Henry McGrady.

Darnell leaves to cherish his memories of his loving mother Chaunie McGrady; children Malani, Malia, Darnell Jr and Maria; Mother of his children Lori Lee; Sister Cierra McGrady (Kashrail King Sr); Brother Durrel Patterson; nieces Cambree and Jada Patterson; Nephew Kashrail King Jr and his favorite cousins Lil Scott and Rashaun as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and countless number of friends.
