Dar-Shon Darrell Marsh was born July 30, 1988, in Akron, Ohio. He transitioned from this earth on December 17, 2018 in Akron, Ohio.
Dar-Shon was educated within the Akron Public School system and graduated John R. Buchtel High School where he played varsity basketball and football. While in high school, Dar-Shon worked at Walgreens in the photo lab and started a landscaping and cleaning business. Upon graduating from high school Dar-Shon attended Walsh University and later the University of Akron where he majored in Business Administration.
Dar-Shon was a laid-back, fun loving, kind young man. He had a strong sense of family and always placed the needs of others first. Dar-Shon's favorite past-times were attending Firestone H.S. football and basketball games, working out at Balch Street and being with family. His one-hundred-watt smile and big hugs were the highlight of many holidays and every-day gatherings; and will be cherished by all that love him.
Dar-Shon was preceded in death by his grand-parents, Sylvester Johnson Jr., Vackers Lee Marsh Sr., and Mary K and Collie C. Brooks; uncle, Vackers Lee Marsh Jr. He leaves to celebrate his life loving and devoted mother, Stacy Johnson; dedicated grandmother, Sandra Johnson; dad, Shon Marsh; brother, JeQuon Johnson; sisters, Cache' Johnson, Marshai Iverson, Cierra Motley and Ayanna Motley; aunts and uncles, Simone Beasley, Slyk and Nikki Johnson, Jerry and Lynn Puryear, Senita Johnson, Towanda and Allan Thomas, Shenequa Sheffield, Brenda and Ronald Mahone; nieces, Ny'Omie Johnson and Ny'Shiya Lundy; nephew, Jeremiah Brown; special friends, Jason McKinnie, Sandesha Collins, Earl DeJournett and Viola Eskridge and a host of loving cousins, other family members and friends.
