Dante T. Alexander's Obituary

Dante Trenzer Alexander was born February 3, 1978, in Canton, Ohio to the late Patricia A. Alexander and Dwight Trenzer "Buzzy" Thomas. Dante went home to be with the Lord, Monday, September 23, 2024. Dante accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized in 2022 at The House of Matthew Outreach Ministry under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Umbola Griffin. He always referred to himself as "God's Son". Dante recently joined I.M.P.A.C.T. Evangelistic Center, COGIC under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Kenneth S. and First Lady Christine Lancaster. He spent countless hours reading his Bible and just talking to God. He had the faith to persevere through all the obstacles that he faced in life and fought until the very end. Dante was a jack of all trades, he enjoyed biking, and fixing up old bikes and giving them to the neighborhood kids. He was a multitalented craftsman, being able to fix anything that you put in his path from, carpentry, electric, plumbing, you name it, he could fix it, from the rooftop to the foundation, he could do it all. Dante was an excellent barber, and often gave his time to the Salvation Army and the local kids in the neighborhood who needed a haircut, whether it was free back to school haircuts, or just a cut to make someone feel better about themselves, he was there as a skilled barber, and a patient ear to listen. Once you sat in his barber chair, you had his undivided attention and a word of encouragement. You would leave his chair feeling great and looking good. Dante had an intense love for animals. Over the years, he has had numerous animals, birds, rabbits, snakes, and fish aquariums, but his first love was dogs. His dogs were his best friends, and he was an exceptional dog trainer. He spent countless hours loving and nurturing his dogs, and you would rarely see him without a fur-baby by his side. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a snazzy sense of style, when he stepped out, he was certainly "dressed to the nines". Dante was the epitome of someone who "Never Met A Stranger", he was truly a beautiful soul, a kind spirit, who loved his family with all of his heart and would always lend a helping hand when needed. Dante will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and without him the city of Canton will never be the same. Preceded in death by the love of his life his mother, Patricia A. Alexander. Dante leaves to cherish his precious memories, his father, Dwight "Buzzy" Alexander; (8) sisters, Stephanie Alexander, Danielle Tharp, Lindsey Howard, D'Marte Williams, Natonna Jones, Paschon Taylor, Lacole Taylor, Alexis Taylor; (2) brothers, Ahmad Faheem, Dalon Thomas; special nieces, Leah Parker, Taylor (Tristan) Clark, Kaylin (Ryan) Wiggins; special nephew, Jordan Campbell, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Children near and dear to his heart, Isaac and Isaiah Lynch, Demond and La'Zell Evans; lifelong friends, Cherri and LaTonya Evans, and special friend, Tanaya Clark, her children, Justine, DeVon, and Micah; fur-baby, China.
