In Loving Memory of Danielle Patrice Mosley

Danielle Patrice Mosley, beloved daughter of Juan and Patricia Terrell-Mosley, passed away on July 21, 2026, after a courageous battle with heart disease. 

Born on July 12, 1978, in Akron, Ohio, Danielle was a proud lifelong resident of West Akron. She attended Schumacher Elementary School, Perkins Middle School, and Buchtel High School. As a young student, she participated in the STEP and Upward Bound programs and enjoyed ballet, tap dancing, and soccer. During her years at Buchtel, she was a dedicated athlete and proud member of the Gri􀆯ins' softball and basketball teams.

Danielle's intelligence, strength, and character were nurtured by the love and guidance of her parents. She possessed a remarkable ability to connect with people from all walks of life. She loved to laugh, teach, and share her wisdom with others. Whether through her spiritual insights, extraordinary cooking, caregiving, sense of style, generosity, or willingness to sacrifice for those she loved, Danielle left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. To those who knew her best, she seemed capable of mastering anything she set her mind to.

Danielle embodied kindness, wisdom, empathy, and ingenuity. She lived generously and believed life's greatest blessings were meant to be shared. Her heart was open to those in need, and she consistently placed the well-being of others before her own. Following her younger brother Michael's life-changing injury in 1996, Danielle devoted herself to supporting and encouraging him in countless ways. Her unwavering love, strength, and dedication became a cornerstone in his life. She was a trusted confidante, a compassionate listener, and a loyal friend whose presence brought comfort, guidance, and laughter to those fortunate enough to know her.

Affectionately known by many nicknames—including Dani, April O'Neil, Dan the Man, Dani-Doo, Don Megatron, Dani Pants, and Danibell—Danielle's vibrant personality and unforgettable spirit brought joy to family and friends throughout her life. 

Danielle leaves behind her loving parents, Juan and Patricia Terrell-Mosley; her devoted brother, Michael Mosley; her best friend, Steve Becton; and countless relatives, friends, neighbors, and loved ones whose lives were made better by knowing her. 

Though her earthly journey has ended, Danielle's legacy of love, generosity, strength, and selfless devotion will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
