Daniel Howard was born January 14, 1954 in Montgomery, Alabama.  He departed this earthly life on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.  Daniel was a longtime resident of Canton, Ohio, taking up residence here after serving in the United States Navey.  He was the type of person who attempted to acknowledge and speak to people, even total strangers who crossed his path.  His concern was displayed whenever you talked to or saw him. One of his most used phrases was " How is everybody on your side?"  Beside his grandparents, Jessie and Ora Lee Freman, he was preceded in death by his mother Marie Johnson and step-father Bennie E Johnson, Sr.  He leaves to mourn his passing, his daughter Tamara McCall, all of Montgomery, Alabama; (1) sister, Bertha J. Howard of Canton, Ohio; brothers, Louie (Darlene) Johnson and  Jonathan Johnson both of Canton, Ohio, Bennie, Jr. ( Lila "Ann") Johnson of Hinesville, Georgia; special aunt, Imogene Freeman of Montgomery, Alabama; special uncles, Alfonza (Faye) Freeman of Montgomery, Alabama, Davis Howard of Wetumpka, Alabama.  He also leaves to mourn his passing a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
