Damon Lamar Anderson of 935 4th Street N.W. Canton, OH, passed away June 6th, 2015. He was born April 16th, 1978, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, OH. Damon was introduced to Jesus Christ and baptized at a very young age at Shiloh Baptist Church 1111 3rd Street S.E., Massillon, OH. He attended Massillon public schools where he graduated from Massillon Washington High School with the class of 1996 and was employed at VXI Global Solutions for several years as a supervisor. Damon is survived by his parents Herbert and Kathryn (Bullock) Anderson, one son: Nevin M. Thomas; two brothers: Jeffrey L. Dickerson of Massillon, OH and John A. Bullock of Louisville, KY; three sisters: Adriane A. Everett– Anderson of Canton, OH, Yvette M. Bullock of Canton, OH, and Kathryn N. Smith of Louisville, KY. Damon was preceded in death by grandparents: James and Mattie L. (Bond) Bullock Lee, and Hollis L. and Rosa (Owens) Anderson. Damon's life was full of laughter and charity towards others. He was a fun, loving, caring and giving person. With a purely generous and self-sacrificing spirit, he tried to help anyone who needed him even if it meant neglecting himself. If he could have saved the world….he would have. That was just his nature. Damon had a way of bringing out the lighter side in things. He could take any situation and see the humor in it. He could make you laugh even on your worst day. One of his most favorite pastimes was playing Madden and often defeating anyone who challenged him at a game of it. He had a passion for and loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and would stand in line all night to purchase the newest game they had out. He had very special relationships with his three nephews and five nieces who adored him and had a host of loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Damon most certainly did not know the depth of love his family had for him. He will truly be missed in a way only God can tell him.
