Daisy Bea
Williams
April 20, 1950 – November 1, 2025
Daisy Bea Hooks Williams was born on April 20, 1950, to the union of the late Robert Hooks Sr. and Pinkie Mae Fuller Hooks in Mulga, Alabama. Following her birth her family migrated to Ohio where she attended Akron Public Schools and later graduated from East High School in the class of 1968. Daisy was employed at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for 15 years and later worked and retired from Twinsburg Chrysler after 25 years of service. Throughout her life she enjoyed traveling, shopping, cooking, and spending time with her son, Darnell. Daisy confessed her belief in Jesus Christ at an early age. She was a former member of New Hope Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. T. DeWitt Smith. Daisy loved the Lord and was never ashamed to confess as the Lord of her life.
On the evening of Saturday, November 1, 2025, Daisy was called to her Heavenly Home to be with the Lord. To cherish her memory, she leaves her loving son, Jerome Darnell Hooks: her siblings, Betty Jean Price, Robert Hooks Jr., and Julia Mae Hooks; two nieces,, Dionne Hooks, and Shiloh Hooks Johnson; one great- nephew, Hezekiah Johnson; Aunt Materia Fuller Hope from Gary Indiana; cousins , Rosalind (Wilbert) Brooks and Marilyn Parker of Birmingham, Alabama; dear special friends, Richard and Renee Humphrey, Dwain Poteete and "Nug" Townsend, as well as a host of family and friends.
