Cynthia L Hill – McCraney earned her heavenly wings and departed this life on Friday, January 8, 2021. She was born on January 7, 1941 to the late Charles Hill and Virginia Prestwood in Barberton, Ohio.

She attended Akron Public Schools where she graduated from South high school. Shortly after completing high school she became employed at Barberton Citizens Hospital as a nurse, she loved taking care of people. She was also a homecare provider and always went out of her way helping others in need.

With her loving personality she always had a way to make you smile. She will be greatly missed by all.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry Gene McCraney and sisters, Lavern Brazil and Diann Futch.

She leaves many to cherish her loving memory and beautiful life, including sons, Larry McCraney, Jr. and Garland McCraney of Akron; daughters, Tonya McCraney (Robert Dowdell) of Akron, Paula McCraney-Brown (Charlie Brown, Deceased) of Detroit, MI and Lisa Odom of Canton, OH; grandchildren, Sedan, Shatorra, DeAngelo, Damon, Darshawn, Darlisa, Darrell, Daneat'rea, Treasure, Jaylin, Jade, Jacob and Lisa; cousin, Terry Burton and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
