(Dunivant) Moore
September 28, 1951 – March 17, 2022
Cynthia Ann Dunivant Moore went home to be with Lord on March 17, 2022, after an extended illness. Cynthia was born on September 28, 1951 to Howard Sr. and Lucy (Jamerson) Dunivant. Cynthia was the second eldest of eight children.
She received a bachelors degree from Baldwin Wallace and later received a masters degree from Kent State University. She served as a juvenile probation officer for 12 years, as well as an educator for 16.
Cynthia was a member of James S. Thomas UMC until it closed in 2020, later becoming a member of Mt. Zion C.O.G.I.C. Cynthia loved her husband, her family, and her friends, but most importantly, Cynthia loved God. She knew her word and loved listening and singing gospel music.
Cynthia was a devoted wife, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and educator. She will be deeply missed.
Preceded in death by her parents, and her eldest sister, Gloria Dunivant.
Cynthia leaves to cherish her precious memory to her devoted husband, Quentin Moore; siblings, Howard Dunivant Jr., Barbara Dunivant, Kenneth Dunivant, Michelle Dunivant, Michael Terrell Dunivant of Youngstown, Ohio and Craig Dunivant; her best friend, JoAnn Howard; (3) step-daughters, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
