Curtis Edward Wright, 65, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on March 18, 2023. Curtis was born on September 26, 1957 in Ravenna, Oh. to his father James Edward Wright and beloved mother Patricia Louise Griffin.

Curtis attended North High School. He was a   welder by trade and a light to the Akron community as he worked for Liberty Tax Service for six years as their cheerful mascot with his unmatched dance moves. As a teen Curtis loved roller skating which prompted his love of dancing. Curtis was a great Father to his children, and a great Grandad to his grandchildren. He loved his    family more than anything in the world and was the life of every family gathering.

Preceding him in death, Father, Edward James Wright, Mother, Patricia Louise Griffin, Son, Curtis T. Wright, Sister, Lisa R. Love, Uncles, Ellis and Robert Kerney, Aunts, Gloria Coleman and Kathlyn Kerney.

Curtis leaves to cherish his memory, his loving daughters, Christine S. Wright, Precious U. Wright, Son, Corey J. Wright, mother of his children, Barbara     Thomas; Sisters, Nicole Bibbs, Allison Kerney; Brothers, LeAndrew Wright, Mandrell (Chari) Holloman, Jermell (Shatoura) Holloman, Daron (Toyalisa) Wright;     Grandchildren, Shiryia Brown, Shirnyia Brown, Ja'Cory Brown, Cori'Ahana Wright, Jazzael Wright, Terrielle Wright, Ja'Coby Brown, Kori Wright, and Corey Curtis Wright all of Akron, Oh.; Very Special Uncles Alfred  Kerney Sr., and Edward (Janice) Ford of Columbus, Oh.; Special Aunt Dorothea Golding; Girlfriend Mary; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family, and great friends.
