Curtis Walters, 67, departed this earthly life on July 14, 2016. Born in Doling Co., GA, he had been a resident of the Akron community for most of his life. He was a South High School graduate, class of 1967. He worked at BF Goodrich for 20 years and also worked at Ohio Pure Foods for 20 many years retiring in 2010. Preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Dora Mae Walters, daughter, Jennifer; two brothers, Dennis and Leonard Walters and sister, Jackie Walters, he leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 48 years, Anna: sons,Curtis D. (Linettetra) and Damion L (Selane) Walters of Akron; sisters, Selma (Charles) Walters, Helen Walters and Phyllis Walters all of Akron; brothers, Lloyd Walters of Erie, PA. and Lamont Walters of Akron; mother-in-law, Nona Moore of Akron; 9 grandchildren,7 great-grandchildren;  and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and dear friends.
