Corey Lynn Haynes went home to be with the Lord December 1, 2023 at age 65, while working in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Corey was preceded in death by his father, Charles Haynes Sr.; mother, Phyllis Porter- Mosley and Niece, Erika.

Corey leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Crystal Michelle Haynes; daughters, Coral and Roxanne Haynes and Angilla (Durrie) Lidge; Son, Corey Lynn Haynes Jr; Step mother, Loretta Haynes Jordan (Mudder) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Siblings, Crystal (Thomas) Church, Jerold (Deborah) Loftin, Vicki Varner, Charles "Chad "Haynes III (ATL), Kisha (Eric) Keeler, ( Milwaukie, Wis), Ronald (Benita) Mosley (Haymaker, VA), J Stephens Mosley; Grandchildren; Devin, Dalilah, Corey III, Chamya, MaCayla, De'Ondre, Durrie and Durron; Godson, Zakari Miller; Special nephews, Dionte Young (Sarah), James D. Boyer Sr (Jasymn) and Special great nephew, James Boyer Jr.; Corey graciously cared for his mother-in-law Hellen West.

Corey was a good man who cared for his family, friends and those who loved him. Corey graduated from East High School class of 1976, where he accelerated as a Linebacker in Football.

Corey became a sailor at age 17 for the U.S Navy where he toured various parts of the world. He was honorably discharged after twelve years of service. He retired from the United States Post Office. He spent his retirement driving Semi Trucks. Corey was the owner of Haynes Transportation and Hands on Haynes Home Repair LLC.

Corey was a jack of all trades; He had multiple certifications and a great work ethic. Corey was a single father until he met the love of his life Crystal and they become one.  Together they lived a good life as they cared for their family and dog Mikey.
