Cora Lynn (Jones) Tyson, born Feb 17, 1961, passed away unexpectedly Jan. 4, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth Jones Gordon and Leroy Gordon, her brother William Lee Jones and sister Pearl Anthony.  She was survived by her two sons Bradley Tyson (wife Margie), Thaddeus Tyson (fiance Hannah) and two granddaughters Cadence and Nora. She has 8 living sisters Donna J. Daniels, Gail Jackson, Mary Harris, Eva Gordon, Lillie Bolds, Jessie Bolds, Ava Graves, Michelle Gordon, 1 brother Leroy Gordon Jr. and her Uncle Charles Killins. She was also survived by cousins Sharlene, Yvette and Evanstein of Detroit, MI, a host of nieces and nephews, special friends Pam Thompson Hill, Ann Lipscome as well as many other special friends. She graduated McKinley Sr. High in 1979 and was a faithful member at Woodlawn Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be forever missed.  The family has peace she will spend eternity with her Heavenly father.
