Connie Camilla Chapman affectionally known as "Chilly Chap" passed away peacefully into her eternal resting place March 24, 2024.  Born to Mildred (Bronner) Powell and Gates Powell on April 1, 1939, in Atlanta Ga. Connie retired from the Akron Public Library. Connie spent her life doing it her way, enjoying life and always putting "FAMILY FIRST."

Connie Is proceeded in death by her loving parents, sisters Martha Bronner, Stella Artis, Frances Harris, and son Edward Jr. (Squeaky). She is survived by her children Joyce, Darryl Sr (Melissa), Denise (Thess), Terry, and Anita. As well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, her "Road Dog" as she called her Sarah Wimbley, and her Ex-husband/best friend Edward Chapman Sr. Connie's infectious laugh and smile will live in our hearts forever, and her love for sneakers lives in ALL OF US!!!
