Colonel affectionally known as Cea received his wings Monday June 7th, 2021 at the age of 64 with loved ones by his side Cea was dear to the hearts of all who knew him.

Born in Detroit, Michigan to Curtis and Bessie Witherspoon on October 11th, 1956. Cea graduated from Akron East High School in 1975 and served in the Navy until 1982 where he was Honorably Discharged. Cea had a passion for cars, machines, and tools. He enjoyed spending many days and nights on various projects and helping others with their mechanical issues. He worked as a mechanic for Fred Martin in Barberton, LKQ as an Auto Mechanic Dismantler, and General Diecast as a CNC Machinist. Being blessed with the gift of song, Cea shared his gift with the Zion Temple Baptist Church Choir where he was a member as well as the gospel singing group Raymond Hinton and the Voices of Praise.

Cea is proceeded in passing by his parents Curtis and Bessie Witherspoon, Sister Barbara Ann Witherspoon, and Nephew Cedrick Witherspoon Sr. He is survived by his siblings Curtis (Kim) Witherspoon Jr, Reed (Susie) Witherspoon, Constanel (Dawn) Witherspoon, Curtis Taylor, Delores Witherspoon, and Felicia Witherspoon. Children Colin (Tina) Kirkland, Erric Witherspoon, Cierra Witherspoon, and Michael (Lashawna) Witherspoon and 8 beautiful grandchildren whom he loved dearly. Mother- In- Law Irene Peacock. Former wives Deborah Roosevelt- McNeil and Gail Witherspoon. Stepchildren Cedreca Strickland-Peacock and Cameron Jones.  He also leaves to cherish his memory a host of family and friends.
