Clinton Chancellor, 83 passed away on May 5, 2024. He was born on October 12, 1940, in Elmore County, Alabama to Elizabeth Huntley and Oris Chancellor. He attended Carver High School in Gadsden, Alabama where he was raised with his three brothers: Willie, Bobby and Joe and sister, Margie. He was united in matrimony to Deloris Green in 1968 and out of that union he had one son, Jeffrey Lamont Chancellor, who preceded him in death, daughter Lisa Green Johnson and son Norman Busby. His eldest daughter, Benita Brown, resides in California. Clint spent most of his life in Akron, Ohio where he worked at A. Schulman for 30 years. Following his retirement, he spent his time fishing and gardening. He enjoyed country westerns, walking, traveling to family reunions and hosting fish fry's.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his brother Joe (Kay), daughters Lisa Johnson (Phillip) who lives in Corpus Christie, Texas, Norman Busby Jr. of Phoenix Arizona, and Benita Brown, of Los Angeles, California, grandchildren and caretakers, Porsha Chancellor and Jeffery Chancellor Jr., grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Oris and Elizabeth, his brothers, Bobby, Willie, Louis, Buster and sisters, Margie, Ruby, and Christine. Clint was a bright light and gentle soul with a witty sense who will live in our hearts forever.
