Clifford J. Cooke Jr. 88 went home to be with the Lord on September 13, 2014 at Akron City Hospital. He was born on August 14, 1926 in Akron, Ohio to Clifford Cooke Sr. and Clara Smith. He was a member and Deacon at Hills Temple and retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Robert Lee Powell. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Annette Cooke; sons, Robert (Diane) Campbell, Hugh W. Stone; daughters, Naomi Campbell-Earley, Diane Parker, Shirley (Ronald) Law and Carolyn Stone; sister, Betty Manley; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 12 pm at Hills Temple Church 799 S. Arlington Street Akron, Ohio 44306. Family will receive friends from 11am until time of service.
