Clarence Cox "CC",65, departed from this early life on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. Clarence was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and moved to Akron at an early age. He attended Akron Public Schools, where he graduated from North High School in 1971, Clarence attended Hummel Business College, and retired from Metro RTA with thirty years of service. Clarence is preceded in death by his parents, Elma and Lee A. Cox Sr.; He leaves to forever cherish his memory daughters, Deanna (Paul) Pottinger of Charlotte, NC, Marcea (Gerald) Miles and Clarissa Williams all of Akron; brother, Lee A. Cox Jr. (Jan); sisters, Doris Cox Hargrove, Martha Cox Blackwell (Charles), Jacqueline Cox Young, Janice Cox Jackson; four grandchildren, other relatives and many dear friends.
