Christel Dawn Crockett passed away on April 26, 2020.  Christel was born on October 11, 1976 in Alliance, Ohio to Mrs. Alice K. Crockett and the late Mr. Willie J. Crockett.  She was a 1994 graduate of Alliance High School.  Christel studied at Stark State College and worked for the Hoover Company from 1996 until 2006.  She was loving, caring, and full of life.  She brightened your day with her beautiful smile.  Christel would help anyone if it were within  her power to do so.  She was a true fighter for her family.  Christel was a friend to many and always cheering for the success of others. She became a mom to many she met.  Although she had several health conditions, but somehow would always manage to help others feel better.

In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, John F. Crockett; maternal grandparents, Thad and Annie Lou Tyson.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving mother Alice K. Crockett; son, Jaquan Cortez James Crockett; sisters, Muriel (Marcell) Mitchell of Alliance, OH,  Kimberly (Eddie) Geddis of Columbus, GA; grandmother, Magnolia Crockett  of Alliance, OH, as well as a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
