Chrcynthia Faye Sullivan was born in Akron, OH on 11/27/1960 to parents Clarence Jones (Father) and Garnett Harper (Mother), a beloved mother and healthcare worker, who passed away at the age of 63 on July 8, 2024. She was a dedicated professional healthcare worker with a strong work ethic known her intelligence and sense of humor. She had a passion for helping others and a passion for any kind of pie! She was known for her resilience and ability to connect with others. Her colleagues and patients alike admired her professionalism and dedication to her craft. Chrcynthia's career in healthcare was marked by her completion of Dental School and her continuous pursuit of knowledge and certifications to stay at the top of her field.
Beyond her career, Chrcynthia was a lover of music, movies, and spending time with her friends, family, and church community. She had a passion for fashion, home decorating, and maintaining a clean and organized home. Chrcynthia was a fighter and overcomer, always persevering through challenges and remaining disciplined in all aspects of her life. Her children (Shaunté C. Sullivan, Daughter and Keenen J. Ruple, Son) were her greatest pride and joy, and she loved her children deeply and cherished every moment with them. She kept every milestone of their lives close to her heart. Her legacy will live on through her children, who will always remember her love, strength, and unwavering support.
Chrcynthia will be remembered for her infectious laughter, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to her family and career. Her impact on those around her will never be forgotten, and her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Shaunte' Sullivan, son, Keenen Ruple, mother, Garnett Harper, sister Tivoli Jones, niece Ashley, nephew Denzel, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, great niece and nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her father Clarence Jones and stepfather Conley Harper. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of Chrcynthia's life will be held on Saturday at the Rhoden Memorial Home, 1101 Palmetto Ave, Akron, OH 44306, where friends and family can come together to remember and honor her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
