Charles Snowden, age 68, of Canton, Ohio passed away on September 25, 2017.  He was born on August 1, 1949 in Madison Mississippi.  Charles retired from Republic Steel with over 25 years of service on the job.  Charles was preceded in death by his parents William and Elizabeth Snowden; son, Shantell Sherrell; (2) brothers, William Snowden and Boston Brown; wife Ada Snowden; nephew, Glenn Snowden.  He is survived by his sons: Charles Snowden, Jr., Desmond Rorie and Ryan Rorie, all of Canton; (2) sisters, Josephine Smothers and Ollie "Dollie" Snowden; (1) brother, Will "Roy" Snowden; nephews, James (Lisa) Smothers of Alliance, Bill Smothers and Terry Smothers of Canton; nieces, Tammy Anderson and Tracie Ridley of Clarksville, TN, Mary (Joe) Easton of Canton, Lisa Snowden of Canton, Barbara Brown and Helen Brown of Akron, Dorothy Hill of Flint, Michigan; special friend, Annie Long, and a host of other relatives and friends.
