Charles DeMicko Snowden, Sr.  affectionately known as Micko, 51, of Canton, Ohio passed away on April 11, 2026 surrounded by family and unconditional love. He was born on January 22, 1975 in Canton, Ohio to Hazel Snowden and Charles Snowden, the start of a life defined by love, strength, and the deep bonds of family.
Charles was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was known for his deeply kind heart, his unforgettable sense of humor, and a strength that carried both himself and those he loved through life’s challenges. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his family and was known for cracking jokes that brought laughter to every room. He took great pride in his accomplishments in football at Souers Middle School and in earning his welding certificate through hard work and dedication, but nothing meant more to him than being a devoted father to his 17 children.
He is survived by his wife Amanda Michael-Snowden, who was not only his wife but his bestfriend! He cherished his children Derek, DeMicka, DeJon, TaKara, Charles Jr, Kacie, DeMicko, Demarcus, Demetrius, Terra, MiKyah, Jamen, Xavion, Brea, Amarionna, Amire and ZaneLee. He will be deeply missed by his siblings, Desmond, Ryan, Satoya, Michael,Tony, Marcus, Euniece, JoNetta, Brenda, Donnie, Kelly, Jody, Tiffany, Carmenina, Lavern, Tamiko, Yvette, Michelle, and Mary. He was reunited with his beloved brothers, Willie Joe Jr., Lawrence, Martin “BoBo,” and Courtney. He leaves behind 19 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Hazel and Charles Snowden, Grandmother Lucile Winston, Aunt Dwane Winston, Father Willie Joe Tucker, Sister Charmie Tucker-Greene and best friend John Hunt.
He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family and for always putting them first. As our biggest supporter and our toughest coach, he shaped who we are, and the love he gave will forever be his greatest legacy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rhoden Memorial home in honor of Charles DeMicko Snowden, Sr.
We take comfort in knowing he is at peace, and reunited with those who went before him.
