Rev. Charles L. Burks, a veteran of the U.S. Army, passed away on July 7, 2016.  He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 62 years, Mary Louise Burks; sons Ronald Burks, Greg (Judge Emanuella), Darryl (Francine) and Reginald (Brenda) Groves and Chauncey "Chuck" (Sheila) Burks; daughter LaDawn and granddaughter La Rynda along with 22 other loving grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives.  He was preceded in death by his sons Charles, Jr. and Kendal Burks and daughter Shirley Ann.  The homegoing celebration will be on Friday July 15, 2016, at 12 p.m. at Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 16705 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH.  Family will receive friends at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at Cleveland Memorial Gardens.
