Charleen Renee McCormick passed away peacefully at the precious age of 55 on Saturday, July 13, 2024. She was born in Akron, Ohio on September 10, 1968 to the late Mr. Charles Sr. and Georgia McCormick. She attended Akron Public Schools and graduated from Garfield High School in 1986. She attended Herzing College where she obtained her degree as a Medical Assistant.

Renee was employed with Summa Health Systems for 21 years. She loved, loved, loved, her job, and she loved, loved, loved, her three grandbabies who were her universe. Renee was a supreme grandmother, a devoted daughter, an astonishing mother, an extraordinary sister, an awesome cousin, a beautiful friend, and a loving auntie. Renee always stood on business and of course her favorite song was "Charlene" by Anthony Hamilton.

She had a fond love of snapping plenty of pics and recording lots of videos. She loved reading novelty books, going to the movies, attending concerts down at Lock 3, dining out at new and different restaurants, and binge watching many different series.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charles Sr. and Georgia McCormick, Grandparents Edward X. and Irene X. Barefield, KV Jackson Sr., and Pete Sr. and Ella McCormick. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, Son Ebben (Leah) McCormick, Brothers Charles Jr. (Coffy) McCormick, Terrance Chaunce Sr. (Misty) McCormick, Garland (Oneace) McCormick, Keith Gilcrest, and sister Chibah Robinson, and a number of friends, coworkers, and family members.
