Chandra Faye Carpenter was born June 10, 1972 in Canton, Ohio to the union of Morris and Yvonne Carpenter. She received her formal education with Massillon School District, graduating from Washington High School with the Class of 91.

Chandra accepted Christ at an early age , was baptized and received her Christian education at Friendship Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor, Joe Sinclair. She was a member of the Fellowship Choir.

She attended the Academy of Hair Design and for 27 years enjoyed working with special needs children.

"Chanee Faye" as she was affectionately known,  loved singing, reading and dancing. She loved to be around her family and friends and especially enjoyed the time she spent with her beautiful and loving grandchildren.

Chandra was surrounded by her loving family when joined the other angels on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 and went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

David Jabron Suggs, Jr. of Canton, OH and Rian Hall of Columbus, OH, one daughter; Jacquayla Branielle Wagner of Canton, OH, 2 step-sons; Elijah, and Terez Peterson, 2 step-daughters; Bre and DaDa Peterson all of Massillon, OH, 3 bonus children; Michael Jones, Tavyiona Buchanan and Javon (Gucci) Mathews all of Massillon, OH, 19 grandchildren; Graycie, Braylen, Montana, Terrence, Leah, Zamarion, Zakari, Ava Rae, Zalayah, Danilo, and Zahavah Suggs, Montana Hiller, Leah Turner, Demarqus Keys, Xavier Cobb, Ha'Kyla Monae' Foutner, La'Riah, Lakih and Ocean Hall, 5 brothers; Gregory (Jacqueline) Carpenter, Donald Thomas, Michael Carpenter all of Massillon, OH, Adrian Grace of Las Vegas, NV and Calvin Grace of Canton, OH, 3 sisters; Pearline Thomas of Massillon, Marie Thomas of Bakersfield, CA and Diane Thomas of Toledo, OH, one bonus brother; Lorenzo Hinton of Canton, one special niece; Sameika Johnson of Massillon, one special nephew; DeVone Spencer of Canton, one uncle; Oliver (Betty) Johnson of Indianapolis, IN, 3 aunts; Carrie Carpenter and Willie Mae Carpenter both of Massillon, Ida Bell Curry of Macon, GA, special cousins; Tonya, Stephanie, Reggie , Gary and Lil' Donald all of Indianapolis, Edwin of Pontiac, MI and Shanette Brady of Canton, special friends; Christopher Benjamin, Nikita (Donnie) Singleton, Judy Threats, Todd Frazier, Rochelle Hopson, Claudia (James) Davis, Tiffany Campbell, Terrell Goodson, Kendalin Turner, and Tresza Butcher all of Akron, Canton and Massillon, OH, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her Friendship Baptist Church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Morris Carpenter and Yvonne Grace, Step-father; Earnest Grace, maternal grandparents; David and Emily Johnson, paternal grandparents; Will and Emma Carpenter, 2 sisters; Maryann Smith and Doris Thomas.
