Cedric Dwight Cravanas was born January 16, 1951 in New Orleans, Louisiana and departed us on December 5, 2021. He is preceded in death by parents Samuel and Ella Louise Cravanas; siblings Rene and Darryl Cravanas, Colette (Myers) Cravanas and son Cedric Vynndra Ervine.  Cedric is survived by daughters Dedra Ervine and Shannon (Calvin) Thompson, son Cedric (Petrina) Mize, and 10 grandchildren: Solomon Garner, Tyerre Mize, Cy'Ana Ervine, Loren D. Harmon Sr.,Cedric Pierre Mize, Jr., Tanesha Mize , Victoria Ervine-Coleman, Pierre Mize, Calvin A. Thompson, Cedric Ervine Jr., and 7great-grandchildren.  Cedric lived in Akron, Ohio most of his life. Cedric graduated from South High School in 1970 beginning a life as a Master Barber and Carpenter.  Cedric lived a full life dedicating himself to his family and friends.  He was a true family man and loved his family dearly. He wasn't just a father to his children but a mentor to many.  Cedric had a larger than life personality with a loud voice that commanded attention and always had a story to tell. Cedric also had a heart of gold and a giving spirit leaving so many who love him to cherish his life and memory forever. Cedric leaves a legacy of love and will truly be missed.
