C.B. "Barron" Thompson was born November 17, 1945 to the late Adam and Alistine Thompson.  He departed this life to be with the Lord on October 12, 2018.  Barron was a long time member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, where he was  active with Sunday School and never missed a Bible Study.  He was a devoted brother, father, and grandfather.  Barron had a love of all that was Jesus.  He had a faith that was unshakeable, unmovable, and steadfast.  Barron worked at LTV Steel for more than 35 years.  He was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S.     Army.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by the love of his life, his devoted wife Linda Raye Thompson; brothers, Alvin Thompson and Anthony "Terry" Thompson.  He leaves to cherish his memory; daughters, Tonya (Dean) Hamilton of Jackson Twp, Veronica Thompson, Vonita Thompson, Addy Thompson all of Canton, Ohio Natasha Walker of North Canton, Ohio; grandson, Clinton Guy Thompson of Canton, Ohio; granddaughters, Britanee Noelle Hamilton of Fairlawn, Ohio; Dora Mae Brumbraugh , Alexis Armstead, Niya Elise Longstreet all of Canton, Ohio, Ava Walker and Emma Matthews both of North Canton, Ohio; great-grandson, Zeke Oliver of Canton, Ohio; sisters, Arveeda (Thomas) Gordon of Radcliff, Kentucky and Darlene (Walter) Moss of Canton, Ohio
