Catherine Cannon  affectionately known as "Cat" passed away October 20, 2021 peacefully   in her sleep.

She was born in Wrightsville, Georgia to the late Eleanor Graddy Burgess.  She moved to Canton, Ohio in her early 20's where she raised her family for the last forty plus years.

When Catherine moved to Canton she was taken in by the Moore, Whitlow, and Brooks  families, all of whom became her instant family.

Catherine retired from Canton Health Care.  She was known and loved for her kind heart and loving spirit.  Those who knew her said her smile would light up a room.

Catherine was a huge sports fan, her favorite team was the Golden State Warriors and her all time favorite player is Steph Curry she loved a good   basketball game. She also enjoyed watching horror films and shark movies, finally we don't want to forget how much she loved going fishing with her son Lovelle.

In addition to her mother, Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Cannon; daughter, Cynthia Cannon; brother, Raymond Burgess.

Catherine leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Catherine (Carlton) Graddy; son, Lovelle (Stephanie) Cannon all of Canton, Ohio; (2) siblings, Cynthia Burgess and Michael Burgess all of Wrightsville, Georgia; grand-children, Ericka Reeves, Britteny Reeves, Erick Reeves, Jaylin Graddy, George McPherson, Marica Wright-James all of Canton, Ohio, Nautica Cannon and Lovelle Lloyd Cannon of Marbury, Alabama; special friend/ sisters, Linda Ruffin, Charlene Moore, AzaLene Moore as well as a host of great grand-children, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
