Carlos Demar Parker went home to be with the Lord on Friday March 15, 2013 after a brief illness. Carlos, 56, was born to Frank & Emma Lorine Parker. He was a life long resident of Akron, Ohio. Carlos was a graduate of South High School. In 1975 he served in the Army, and received an honorable discharge in 1978. As a civilian he worked as a Park Patrol, and last working for Akron Public School as a Custodian for Miller South School for more than 30 years Until he became ill. Carlos accepted Christ at Arlington Church of God. Carlos was preceded in death by his father Frank Parker Jr., and brother Glen Parker. He is survived by his Mother Emma Lorine Parker, daughter Cara Parker, Son Carlos II Parker, god daughter LaToya Roberson, & god son Eric Gadson, Sisters Saundra Powell ( Robert) Shephard, Thelma ( Lonnie ) O'Neal, Linda Parker, Paula Parker Patterson, Debra Joyce Parker, Beverly Denise Parker, Brothers Frank H. ( Victoria ) Parker, & Alan Leslie Parker, One Aunt Shirley Wilson, Special niece Alona Lorine Crandall, Sister Beverly Parker & special friend took care of him. Many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
