Carl Lester Jackson Jr. affectionately known as CJ was born to Kim Shipp and Carl Lester Jackson Sr. on January 14, 1988 in Canton, Ohio. He made his transition to be with the Lord, Monday, June 8, at the young age of 27 years old. He was the second oldest of five children. He was baptized at a very young age by the late Rev. Henry Winters, CJ had a personal relationship with the Lord, he attended the Mt Olive Baptist Church. His favorite gospel songs were "I Know I've Been Changed", "Jordan River I'm Bound Cross", and "Get Right Church and Let's Go Home". CJ was always the life of the party, he loved to read, he was very talented, and loved fashion. He also loved to dance, to Hip Hop and R&B. He attended Canton and Massillon City Schools. He was proceeded in death by his grandfather, Alfred McClain Shipp (Billy Jo); aunt, Murdis Shipp; great grandmother Murdis Clark; great grandfathers, John Henry Clark, and Bethel Shipp. He leave to cherish his precious memory, his loving and devoted mother Kim Fox and stepfather Lawrence Fox; sisters, Kissina Shipp, and Murdis Shipp, Cerress Richbury all of Canton, Ohio, Carletta Mack of Cheeseapeke, Virginia., and Tabetha Tally of Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Cortez Shipp, and Jordan Shipp all of Canton, Ohio; aunts Jolonda Clark, Gail (Hillard) Odd, Kristy Clark, Michelle Card all of Canton, Ohio; uncle Mark Hogan of Greenville, South Carolina; grandmother Mabel Hogan, and his 98 year old great, great grandmother Louise Shipp both of Canton, Ohio; great aunts Ellen Hogan, Sandra (Jeff) Wilson, of Canton, Ohio, Girlie (Bill) Hall of Sandusky, Ohio, Bonita Shipp Farrior of Midway, Georgia and one great uncle Phillip Shipp of Columbus, Ohio; close family friend Stephanie Truitt of Cleveland, Ohio, and dear friend Tealowe of Canton, Ohio, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. CJ will deeply be missed by all who knew him.
