On April 6, 2018 Calanda was called home to be with the Lord. She was born September 29, 1971 in Canton, Ohio to Lonnie and Mamie Jones.

Preceded in death by her grandparents Wiliam T. (Ruby L.) George and Lester Jones, Sr.; special cousin, Jerry Lipkins III.
