Bryson O'neil Barksdale, age 35, was born on July 12, 1987 in Canton, Ohio to Tracy Barksdale and Horace Rubin, Jr. He departed this life on April 7, 2023.

Bryson was a graduate of Canton McKinley High School.  He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where he accepted Christ as his Savior.

Bryson was a wonderful son and he truly, truly loved his children and family.  He had an infectious smile that would light up a room.  He was a hard worker and he loved to cook, especially his grandmother's recipes.  He was a true friend and protector of many; and he was an encourager to everyone he knew.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Beulah and JohnBarksdale and Mary and Horace Rubin, Sr.; brother, Anthony Thorpe; and uncles, Bill, DeWit, and Sam Wylie.

Bryson leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Tracy Fuller; father, Horace (Kimara) Rubin, Jr. of Arizona; step-father, Todd Fuller; second Mom, Ava Lugay; children,U'Naiya, Ka'Liyah, Ja'Vionna, and Bryson Barksdale Jr.; brothers Tayvon and Jibri Rubin of Columbus; Aunts,Vanessa Rhodes of California; Min. Patricia Miles, Katara (Adrian) Stephens, and Michelle Rubin King; cousins, Min. Kory Miles, Kayla Miles, Michelya Webb, Demi Harper, Brooklynn Burns, Maranda Starczewski, Kenya Childress, Austin Wallace & family, an abundance of other loved cousins; and a multitude of friends and associates.  He leaves a legacy that will never be forgotten.
